Barb went to Stanford following graduation. She wanted to become a pediatrician. I was going to be a child psychologist and we were going to open our own clinic. Another classmate was to be a nurse in the clinic. We all had dreams of working together and giving to others. I was sad to hear of her passing at the reunion but I believe she did become a physician after attending Harvard Medical School. If anyone knows more I would appreciate the information.
Barb was a classmate of mine at Lawrence, graduating in 1968. She was close to a chemistry professor, Dr. Rosenberg, who was also my advisor. He had kept touch with her until her death; we spoke of Barb at a recent reunion.
Barb then went to Harvard Medical School and practiced in the Boston area. Through my wife, I heard the great story that somehow it came to be that Julia Child was Barb's dinner guest. What do you serve to Julia Child? Barb kept it simple, a ham I believe.

Thank you Ed for the information and a great story. It sounds as if she led a full life and that is the memory of her I would like to have.
