I have great memories of Gary during our time at LT as well as the Field Club during the summers. He was always upbeat and fun to be around. He had two big things goiung for him: he was mega smart and a terrific athlete. We will all miss him. Gary, may you rest in peace.

I agree with John, Gary was super smart and he was a great athlete. But my memeories of Gary were more from junior high school atr Gurrie Central. Gary was a perennial star on the basketball team and he was fast in track. But the memory that stands out the most for me is his seventh or eigth grade science project where he had a glass tube with a key chain hanging in it. He ignited a smoke pellet that would fill the glass tube with smoke. Then he electrostatically charged the chain and all of the smoke was completely cleared out of the glass tube onto the chain. Talk about being cognisant of the problems of carbon capture! Let us rejoice that he was part of this world and we knew him.
